If you should be so unfortunate as to use Network Solutions for your domain registration: Be very careful when you decide to transfer the name. Changing the primary email address for the domain will trigger a “security lock” on the domain. This forces you to call in. Requesting removal of the lock will be met with questions about your plans for the site and they will give you a sales pitch. If the pitch fails, they will then “escalate” your request to have the lock removed but that does not mean the lock will be removed.
